More About the Role 

Our General Summer Internship Program is designed to introduce students to the world of creative communications.  

Responsibilities 

  • Develop Targeted Media and/or Influencer Lists: Develops media and influencer lists tailored to specific campaigns and initiatives 

  • Event/Activation Support: Help build and gather information for invite lists, and help with other aspects of event and campaign coordination, such as communicating with vendors, confirming deliveries, etc. 

  • Product Shipping: Support the teams with packing boxes, printing shipping labels, and coordinating deliveries 

  • Create Client Reports: Assists in crafting materials showcasing client achievement in press or social media 

  • Social Media Monitoring: Checking social media for client mentions 

The pay rate for the Public Relations Internship is $16.50/hour. 

Qualifications 

  • Weekly & Onsite Availability: Capable of dedicating a total of 32 hours per week Mondays through Thursdays, while being available for in-office work on Tuesdays through Thursdays from 9:00am – 5:30pm.  

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills 

  • Microsoft Office Familiarity: Proficient with Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint 

  • Media and Pop Culture Enthusiasm: Displays a keen interest in media, pop culture, and entertainment trends, showcasing a passion for staying updated with current events and industry developments 

  • Commitment to Diversity, Equity and Inclusion: Embodies the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion; demonstrates self-awareness, cultural competency, and the ability to work with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds 

  • Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a dynamic workplace, showcasing adaptability and resilience 

Additional Information About the Program 

The Summer 2024 Internship Program is scheduled to start on June 2nd and end on August 15th. Interns are expected to report to our New York office three times a week with our teams being in the office Tuesdays through Thursdays. The pay rate for this opportunity is $16.50/hour and is eligible for college credit, additionally, if applicable.
